Playtest Build 4

Changelog

Rotation controls changed again. As a result you can no longer jump using the W key.

Your jump direction is now always directly towards where your character was facing when they jumped.

You no longer have control of your character's velocity while airborne.

You now now run up slopes and walls at full speed again.

Your run speed is based on the direction of your input (W and S while move vertically up a wall even if your character is sideways).

Minor edits to levels, mostly to levels 4 and 5.

The game now saves your progress. You cannot use pageup or pagedown to cycle through levels you do not have access to via progression.

Added art for rotating platforms.

The camera is now zoomed out even more while playing.

Player mass reduced, gravity scale increased.

Keyboard Controls

WASD to move.

W or SPACE to jump.

S while airborne to fast fall.

While airborne press the jump key and use WASD to rotate

R to reset the level.

P to pause.

Page Up to go to the next level

Page Down to go to the previous level

ESC to exit.

 

XBox Controller Controlls

Left Thumbstick to move

A to jump

Hold the left thumb stick downwards while airborne to fast fall.

While airborne press the jump key and use the left thumb stick to rotate

Start to pause.

Back to reset the level

Page Up to go to the next level (keyboard)

Page Down to go to the previous level (keyboard)

ESC to exit (keyboard)

 

Changelog

All levels changed (more drastically on levels 4 and 5).

Added the ability to rotate the player while airborne.

You are now zoomed out more while playing.

You now run faster and fall faster.

Player mass (amount of force that the player causes to platforms) increased.

You have more control while running or jumping.

Removed flipping (due to accidentally being triggered too often while rotating).

You can no longer endlessly jump up a wall (you run out of momentum).

The player is slightly shorter.

Jumping at the edge of a platform is now more lenient.

Added arrows to platforms that spin.

Edited how rotation caused by jumping was handled.

Xbox controllers now have a button for resetting the level.

When you win the level you now zoom out.

You can now change levels using the page up/page down keys.

Changelog

Added level 1 (tutorial).

You now rotate slightly when you jump. The old rotation input technically works in this build but is intended to be replaced by this new rotation system.

If you fall over you automatically get up.

Adding the ability to flip your character upside down.

Wall jumping is now much easier.

You can now jump while on your side.

Running now has more control.

You now accelerate less when running up walls (varies on how steep the wall is).

Added camera shake when large collisions occur.

Fixed camera zoom bug on slow machines.
